AI-Generated Transcript

Welcome everyone to Ask BITS for Saturday, December 20th, 2025.

Our last Ask Bits of the year.

My name is Marci and I’m here with Kliph.

Hello Kliph.

How are you today?

I’m well, thank you.

Glad to hear it.

After all of the challenges we had before starting this call, we hope to bring you a

good call where we can answer your technology questions.

Marci, I sneaked in at the last minute.

Yay!

Lisa’s also having Zoom issues.

So happy Saturday.

Yeah.

Happy Saturday to you as well.

Do you have an icebreaker question for us, Lisa?

Yeah, I guess.

What is one gift you would like to receive for the holidays?

That’s a good one.

I think that was one that David asked us last time and we can continue to say

exactly what we want to receive because there’s so much technology out there that

we would absolutely like to know.

So Cliff, what is one tech gift that you would like to receive for the holidays?

Marci, you know better than to ask somebody a question when they’re chewing a cracker.

Anyway, well, I already got my tech gift.

It was the iPad Pro M5 with the magic expensive keyboard.

The one that’s $300, but it’s all the one that automatically connects the

connector, the magic connector.

With the magnet.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So you can ask the magic connector, but anyway, you can set it up right out the

box with the keyboard and not have to worry about using the touchscreen.

If you’re not well with it, I am, so it didn’t matter to me, but yeah, I got that

for myself for my birthday and Christmas.

So.

Wow.

We want to thank Cindy so much for hosting us today on zoom.

And we want to thank Diane so much for streaming for us today and monitoring

what’s going on in clubhouse.

Lisa, what is one tech gift that you would like to receive?

This is going to seem like a non-answer on the face of it.

I like to receive gift certificates because I like to pick my own tech.

My family is not terribly techie.

And if they picked out a gift for me, it would either be a duplicate or maybe not

usable.

Um, but the most recent tech thing I did pick out myself after many years, my

air fryer died, then I got a fancy schmancy new Kisori smart air fryer,

which I’m liking very much.

Wow.

That is a wonderful choice because I’ve had that for three years and I love it.

It’s accessible with Alexa and you can use it 100% in the app by yourself.

You need no private assistance.

Yeah.

Yeah.

So Cindy, what I’d like for you to do for us, please.

So we invite you all to answer the icebreaker question.

I’d like for you to call the person asking the question saying who’s following that

person.

So they’ll know that it’s time for them to unmute.

And so let’s get to those tech questions.

Let’s get to those answers of the icebreaker question of what everybody wants to

receive for Christmas.

And let’s see what people have to say today.

Hi Jessica.

If I had enough money, I would love to receive a tactile graphics display from

Orbit Research, like graffiti registered from Orbit Research.

It’s a multi-line braille display.

It’s probably about 18,000 or so-ish because it’s multi-line.

And maybe I ought to win a lottery and that way I can never worry about money for

the rest of my life.

That would be awesome.

Did you have a technical question for us today?

If anybody knows of any way I can get this tactile graphics display, either the

graffiti from Orbit Research or the Monarch from APH.

I’m just trying to find out a way I can get these devices because I figured it would

be really helpful, especially since I got the jaw on what you Perkins Brailler book.

It’s a, you know, it’s a picture book.

And I figured that with a one-line braille display, it won’t work trying to read

pictures.

I’m going to give you the same answer that Desiree gave you yesterday when you asked

her.

If you find out exactly how you can get assistance getting those braille displays,

please let us know.

Because, I mean, I wish there was a way that we could totally help you.

But yeah, just let us know if you find that way.

So, there are two things that came to my mind.

One is that you could do a search online for technology grants for individuals.

Sometimes you can get those.

And if you have certain factors, like if you’re in the military, if you were in the

military or you’re over a certain age, whatever, it’s kind of like scholarships.

If you remember at all applying for college scholarships, sometimes the criterion were

really bizarre.

But if you were the third child in a family of all girls and you lived in Oklahoma, you

could apply for this and such scholarship.

And the same might be the case with these grants.

The other thing is there is a device called the DotPad.

And had I thought about it, that would have been on my tech wish list.

It only costs a cool $5,000.

So, it is less and it has fewer lines, but it does display graphics.

I have a friend who just got one and she’s over the moon in love with it.

But if you don’t need quite as many cells, that might be another place to look because

$5,000 is still a lot of money, but it might be a little more attainable than $18,000.

Exactly. Have you seen the DotPad personally, Lisa?

Briefly.

Just briefly.

Briefly. I think it’s got like a five line display.

I forget how many characters.

And then it has a single line Braille display at the bottom.

So, you can have graphics and Braille.

My friend is deafblind and she loves it for captioning.

She can read the captioning on it and she said it’s just a good experience.

And you can look at images like the different icons on the iPhone.

It will display those and they have a whole image gallery.

So, they had all these Harry Potter themed things and they had space and stars.

And I’m ready to take a trip to New Orleans just to spend some quality time with her DotPad.

That’s awesome.

What was your second idea?

You said you talked about technology grants.

What was the second idea?

The second one was choosing perhaps another device like the DotPad.

Oh, gotcha.

Something a little bit more economical where the funds are easy to obtain to purchase.

Easier.

Easier.

Yeah.

No more red tape.

Thank you so much.

No more.

You know, pay over time kinds of plans as well.

Right.

Payment plans.

Ready?

Thank you so much, Jessica.

Yes, ma’am.

Okay.

Just to let everybody know, we are having a lot of Zoom issues before we got on.

And we’re having some others because I lowered Jessica’s hand.

And it said I was lowering her hand, but it lowered somebody else’s too.

Oh, no.

No.

Oh, it’s a Zoom day.

Matthew.

I don’t have a tech question.

I just wanted to feedback on what Lisa was just saying about the DotPad and offer a bit of clarity there for anyone else

who is interested.

The DotPad is an interesting product.

It’s if you are reading in Braille and if you are reading single line Braille, I think the DotPad is eight lines of 20 cells.

And then it has a 20 cell Braille display underneath that a single line, 20 cell display underneath that.

So so it’s kind of nine lines, but you would not really get nine lines out of it.

It’s more like eight lines of 20.

The big deal about the DotPad, though, is that on the multi-line surface, all of the dots are equidistant from one another.

So you could actually get double line space Braille on the DotPad or you could get one and a half spaced or triple spaced or whatever.

So the exact number of lines is a little bit uncertain depending on how you’ve got your line spacing set up.

And of course, it can do tactile graphics very reliably because all the dots are equally spaced.

So, yeah, that’s that’s the DotPad.

The Graffiti, interestingly enough, can’t do multi-line Braille.

It can only do graphics because the dots are quite large and they’re not they’re not spaced very well for Braille.

So the Orbit multi-line displays for Braille are actually the Orbit Slates, which are significantly cheaper.

They’re probably only about three or four thousand dollars, but they’re only you can get three lines of 40 or five lines of 20.

I think probably the DotPad would be a slightly more compact form factor and you’d get slightly more Braille on a DotPad than you would on an Orbit Slate.

But yeah, I just wanted to offer just a bit of clarity there for anybody who was a bit confused.

I’m very interested.

I’d like to see them.

Yeah, they’re great fun.

And it’s the sort of thing you’d want to go to like ATIA in January or CSUN in March or something to really.

Yeah, you do need to see them because they’re all so different.

Like if you look at a human wear display and a HIMS display, I mean, some people prefer human wear, some people prefer HIMS.

But fundamentally, you look at the two displays and you go, yeah, it’s a Braille display.

It looks like a Braille display.

You know that there’s not that much difference between them really in terms of their basic design and shape and form factor and how they work.

But with multi-line Braille displays, they look so different.

I mean, the Monarch uses the same cells as the DotPad or nearly the same cells as the DotPad.

But even though they use the same cells, the two devices look really different and have very different features and very different functions.

So, yeah, you definitely need to go see them in person before you make a purchasing decision.

And as far as we are to date, do you know of any that connect to multiple devices or are they all just connected to one computer?

That’s a good question.

I imagine that you could, like technically, I imagine you could connect them to multiple devices, but I think you would have to disconnect them from one device before connecting them to the next device.

I don’t think there are any way you can just kind of seamlessly switch between one and the other.

Dot are being really open and transparent.

They’ve just formed a new team, well, they’ve been forming over the past year, a new team that’s actually based in the UK for user experience and global business development and things like that.

And they’re putting on lots of webinars at the moment about various different features of the DotPad.

So it’d be worth looking on the Dot website, subscribing to the Dot newsletter to be informed of that.

And that may very well be something to ask on a future Dot webinar about their plans for that.

Wow. Thank you so much.

Yeah, no worries. No worries at all.

Happy Christmas to all.

I have a lady here now.

I have an Android phone that has a plop back and it has a braille display.

And for those, right.

Well, I recommend you to get a Android phone that has plop back and braille display.

And trust me, it will help you.

We are a daily day task.

If you cannot see the font.

The braille display will enlarge it for you.

So the braille display, do you know which braille display you have?

I have the the the Android 16, the new one.

Yeah, that’s for the phone.

Do you know which braille display you have?

Actually, no.

No. OK.

But I do have talk back version two point six.

Gotcha. That’s for the Android.

Well, thank you for your recommendations.

They shown absolutely appreciate them.

Welcome.

Thank you.

Happy birthday, Eric.

Thank you, bro.

It was yesterday.

You know it.

What you got for today?

Not well, is ask miss anything right?

Anything technology related?

OK, well, yeah, yeah, yeah.

That’s obvious.

Is the paramount plus on Apple TV broken or they just not accessible?

It’s weird.

Like me trying to navigate it.

It’s I was on there yesterday.

It was working for me just fine.

What Apple TV do you have?

The latest one, the four K, whatever it is, the one with.

The remote where it’s like a wheel.

Yeah, and it’s got the the Siri button on the side.

Yeah.

Yeah, it was working for me just fine,

Howard, but you have to remember, too, the navigation is not going to be the same

as it would be on the iPad or the iPhone.

So your tab, your tabs are going to be on your left.

You click which one you want, then you swipe to the right to look at your title.

So if it’s not working that way, then just do the usual uninstall,

reinstall it, restart your Apple TV, close everything and then try again.

Yeah, because sometimes sometimes I’ve been having a problem with my

my app switcher on there, where are you trying to use it?

Maybe I’m using it the wrong way.

So you double click the home button and you swipe up with one thing

or you can’t do three fingers, swipe up like you can on the phone.

So you do want.

OK, yeah, I’m going to close this out.

Yeah, you got my number.

Call me about three and we’ll go to it together.

It’s always what? Three Central.

Yeah, yeah. We’re both in Central.

Why would I say anything else?

Yeah, the the.

I don’t don’t call me during the Bears game tonight.

OK, OK. No, no.

Oh, and you have the answer to the icebreaker question for the

what tech you’d want for Christmas.

Oh, no.

Because I wasn’t here. I didn’t I didn’t get.

I know. But you can still answer it.

Yeah, yeah. I guess the answer like an actual

a bro display bro display like a mantis.

You know, of course, because because I got a reader, but it’s not really.

I mean, it’s good.

And I appreciate it.

That is that was free given to me by the state of Illinois.

Thank you very much.

And if it’s but which one, which one do you have?

Which one does Illinois?

Oh, you know, where you mean where? Yeah. Yeah.

It works for what it does.

Like I read books with it. Yeah.

It’s OK. It’s nice. I agree with you that the mantis would be a nice gift.

I love the mantis. Mm hmm.

All right. Are they going for like fifty five hundred or is it lower?

No, they’re only a little bit less than that.

They’re only three thousand now.

Oh, only three.

So I love them because I’m on the you got it.

I don’t have that money.

You’ve been talking to Patrick Sheehan, haven’t you?

I hear things to your answer.

I’ll talk to you later.

All right. I’ll see you later on my Windows machine.

I used to be able to hit the start key and I’d get a search box

and I could type in my search and, you know, the the best match

or whatever came up, I could

hit the applications key and either copy the

what am I trying to say?

Copy the path or open

the location where the item was.

And I don’t seem to be able to do that anymore.

So are you wanting to access the programs to make shortcuts to the program?

So I’m wanting no, I’m I’m wanting to know how to open

the file location when I do a search.

OK, so when you do the search, does the

does the the thing you’re searching for come up?

Yes, the item I’m searching for comes up. Yes.

OK, so it would seem to me that perhaps

it’s it’s coming up, but it’s not being seen as selected,

which is why your shift F10 won’t work.

I would try maybe before you do your shift F10, press space on the item

to see if that selects it.

Press space.

That’s a good one.

Once I’ve once I’ve written in the search term and gotten the item that I.

OK, try hitting space and then see if the applications

because right now when I hit the applications menu,

it seems to just go to search, you know, it’s

search and

and then the place where you write the search in.

If you press enter, it goes between those two places.

The other thing is, Diane, when you’re searching is your

is your results coming up and you’re able to find the program you’re looking for?

No, she said she I’m not finding the program I’m looking for

because it’s not allowing me to open the file location or copy the right.

And what I’m saying is when you’re searching is, is the name of that program

actually appearing in the search box, because there was a bug

back about a month ago where the search box appeared to not be working.

But it really was.

But George just wasn’t speaking it, but they have since fixed that.

So I was going to ask you, when’s the last time you actually updated your computer?

Updated Windows, right?

Updated Windows. Yes. Windows Update.

Well, I have it set.

I have it set to update automatically, at least for,

you know, the things that are most important.

OK, I check to see if there’s one, because sometimes those big ones

don’t come down right away or do, you know,

and you might have to authenticate with your password anyway.

So I check to see if there’s any big updates that you have missed.

OK. And that might also to just a simple restart,

because I was not getting the calculator for a little while.

Yeah. Yeah.

You know, it’s just like and I just restarted it and I could get the calculator.

No problem. Just like I needed to.

So, yeah, Windows updates for sure.

If you do get the item, try to hit the space bar on the item and then

applications and see if you get the file path.

Yeah. OK. All right. Thank you.

Good morning. Morning, Pam.

I don’t really have a tech question.

But you want to tell us what you want to get, right?

Yes. And and this is a

this is going to sound like a almost like a no brainer.

It’s a tiny little thing.

And the problem is they simply are not available right now.

And that is speed dots.

It’s that handy little overlay that you put on your iOS screen

and it makes typing go way better.

And the company that was making them

were bought out by who knows what or who or where or

and and they still aren’t available and they haven’t been for probably.

Oh, at least six months.

And in the meantime, I got a new phone

about five months ago, something like that.

And I really miss my speed dots.

Yes, I can type on screen, but it is

ridiculously slow.

More often than not, I resort to my

Bluetooth keyboard.

Understood. Thank you for sharing.

You’re welcome.

That very much.

I don’t have a tech question,

but I think I the technology I would like to get this Christmas is a new computer.

Mac or Mac or PC?

Yes. I mean, PC.

Yes. Like both of them.

Well, yes.

There you go.

Yeah. So I think that’s what I’d like to see.

Well, thank you, David.

I’m so glad. I hope you get a new computer.

It’ll be there someday.

Go ahead.

I have two things.

First of all, for the person that was talking about.

The speed dots templates,

I would say keep an eye and an ear out because.

I recently remember somebody talking about getting.

One of those from somewhere that had started selling them.

Now, I don’t know if they’re making their own or if they’ve taken over speed dots.

Unfortunately, I can’t remember who it is.

And I just did an online search and I came up empty.

The other thing is

just a quick whatever, if we’re waiting for people to ask questions,

a little cautionary, don’t do what I did, tail.

My family has a gift exchange every year,

so we buy one larger gift,

which keeps us from having to buy lots and lots of smaller, multiple gifts.

So we buy one and then we go through and we have numbers and we can trade.

And there are rules and it’s fun and it’s interesting.

So this year I got the idea that as a gift, I would give a

smart bird feeder with a camera.

And there’s an app that identifies the birds

because a lot of my family are bird watchers.

I got a bag of bird seed to go with it.

I was very proud of myself and thinking this was a really clever,

ingenious idea, and I got a good Black Friday deal.

I even got it below our spending limits.

So I woke up around two in the morning and went, oh.

It has an app.

I wonder if the app is a subscription.

So I won’t have saved anything, I won’t have gotten any deal

because I will need to put a few dollars in there

to cover a year of subscription for the app.

So, you know, just when you’re giving a gift like that.

Be sure to check and see if a subscription is required.

They do seem to be kind of showing up everywhere.

Yeah, kind of sounds like the elephant game.

We’re going to be playing at this Christmas party I go to.

It’s a little different, though.

Everybody has a gift.

It’s $25 minimum, which we all would usually spend more than that.

But it’s fun because, you know, you pick a number, you get a gift.

But the problem is, if I get an iPad Pro

and Marcy’s five people down before me and she gets an air fryer,

she can say, Cliff, I want your gift and I have to give it to her.

So that’s how ours works, too.

It’s kind of a stealing game.

So, yeah, I ended up with a bidet one year.

Little did Marcy know I’ll be sleeping in her yard

before she gets home to make sure I get in the house.

So I’ve been talking to a lot of people and we learned from Tyson

that the Ask Bits committee is going to go under the Education Committee for Bits

and we’re going to start doing some presentations for you.

So we want you to tell us what presentations you’d like to see heard

or you’d like to hear done for you on Ask Bits,

because we want to do the presentations that you want to hear.

We want to keep them simple and we want to like maybe devote

one Ask Bits call per month for your questions

and then one for the presentations that you want to see.

Or if you. Provide these questions for us on Ask@bits-acb.org

We want to be able to tell you,

maybe select a couple of questions that you guys have sent in

and then we can demonstrate the answers to those questions.

So that’s one thing that I’ve been talking to Tyson about,

because the Ask Bits is going to come under the Education Committee.

Right. Yeah.

And so I think. Don’t do what I’ve done in the past

where I might really want a training on a topic and think,

oh, it’s too simple.

Everyone knows that for me.

No, they don’t, because, you know, it amazes me sometimes.

Things that people don’t know,

but then they know these other things that it’s like,

how do you even know that?

So, I mean, we all have differences in what we know and don’t know.

So please do feel free to tell us,

because chances are good that it’s not just you.

Exactly. If one person wants to know it,

that means that more than one person will want to know it,

but are afraid to say, hey, me too.

And that’s just something that we want to do for you,

starting at the beginning of the year.

You go to bits.

Dash, a.org, you’ll find links to

presentations that have been done in the past.

I really appreciate everyone being here, and I know that we had

some technical challenges this morning.

If you have questions for us to send to us by email,

please do so at ask@bits-acb.org.

If you want to have suggestions of the things that you want to see,

I know that we would love to see what you want to see presented

because we want to show you and meet you where you are

and show you how to do those things.

Maybe it’s little things like copy files that are nonconsecutive.

If you’ve got a file up at the top of your list

and then a file at the bottom of your list,

how do we select those to copy or how do we select those to delete?

Yeah, so I do have a Mac with boot camp and I’m using Nvidia.

I’m sorry.

He’s like, no.

So what he said, I’ve been at it for years, bro.

I know that’s why I’m messing with you.

Go ahead with your question about Mac OS belongs on Mac OS.

Right. Right. Hey, look, hey,

I like Lenovo’s to know.

What is the setting where, like, say, if you’re looking at a add on description.

Like in the add on store, they have like add on descriptions

in a multi line.

I forget what the setting is to make it read like where it’s kind of like on one line.

I forget there’s a setting in like the browse mode where you can actually do that.

So like, you know, how Jaws puts a link on one line and then it separates it out

from the rest of the.

Like web page.

I think that’s how every day

because like every day when I read a web page, it’ll say,

like, click your link to.

You know, go to this other page or whatever.

And you want you want to appear all on.

I mean, like each link on its own line.

Is that what you want?

Yeah, because I forget.

I think there’s a setting in.

Yes, I think you’re right.

I think in the browser settings, can you give me a chance to look that up

and get back with you? Yeah.

Excellent, because, yes, I think I know what you’re talking about.

I think I just have to tap through the browser settings and find out.

I do accessibility testing for Texas Tech University,

and we are wanting to test out a software called Cadence.

OK, Cadence is a Linux based software.

Well, it’s run off a Linux,

I guess, OS platform. Right.

And so what we have to do, what what this

program is for is for electric engineering.

And so what I’m trying to do is I’ve got accessibility

to be able to get into what they’re calling a.

Console or terminal to funnel into

what’s called a high power computer

center, which will then allow me to get into this cadence.

But when I call JAWS, they say something that I need an emulation

program to be able to do this using JAWS

without having to use some kind of Linux screen reader

or get some kind of separate Linux computer to test this software on.

Are you guys familiar with any emulation package?

That’s what they’re calling it that I could use to do this.

So you’re looking for an emulation package

that will run in Windows so you can use it with JAWS,

but to emulate the Linux software, right?

To emulate the Linux terminals.

Right. So I can so that what I understand what happened is

JAWS will pull the text from the Linux

when I with this emulation package, it will pull the text off

of the Linux software or the program that I’m running

and turn it into more of a Windows

friendly type access so that I can use my JAWS keys.

Gotcha. Totally understand what you’re looking for.

I’m just not familiar with any of them.

And my my knowledge of Linux is nil.

Pretty much.

It’s not with mine.

You guys are the specialists or what are your solutions?

So we can go we can definitely go to the Internet and find out.

Can you email me at Askbits to make sure that we do that so we can?

Yeah, I can do that. Yeah, I got my IT guys at work working on it, too.

So I just I just thought you guys might just the geniuses you guys are that

I leave the genius titles to Cliff and Lisa.

I am no genius.

Matthew, the only thing that I understood about what you asked

is the fact that you said you were in Texas and that’s where I’m heading.

So I told you guys I told you, man,

because I first had to get to explain all this to him.

I was like, I don’t even know if I’m using the right language.

Is this English or is this Latin? I mean,

OK, thanks.

Back when I programmed for mainframe, we used we used PCs to be terminals

for the mainframe.

So I know what you’re talking about when you say a terminal, right?

So we want a Windows terminal that will emulate the.

Then we do have one.

We have what is called Mobiax term that will allow me to.

But once I get into the Linux, I lose all speech.

I have no access to it.

Sure, because it’s a totally different operating system.

And yes, she works on Windows.

Windows, right.

It’s it’s in the media.

It’s on Windows.

Hello. I got you.

So, OK, I know what you need.

I’ll do some digging.

I was doing that already.

So I somebody said something made

and referred to a name called Extra.

Are you familiar with that?

And that was an emulation package called Extra.

Yeah, I would totally without without doing research,

I could not speak on the topic.

I’m on it. So you said, do you have anything?

I want to, because the more I learn, you know, the better

you know, the solutions I can provide.

I wish I did, but I’m so far from having something.

OK, no problem.

Thanks for helping me, though.

I think you’re asking me not to try to give me some

long direction that ends up nowhere.

Exactly. Just before you meet up.

I’m sorry. I’ve been invited to unmute.

I guess I’m the next person, but I was going to come in and.

Well, you’re there. Yes. Yeah.

We have three people with our hands.

Oh, well, I’m sorry about that.

I know you’re good.

I got the permission prompt to unmute.

So I kind of figured.

But anyway, it was about this this question anyway.

If it’s I don’t fully understand what it is you’re trying to assess.

And my own Linux knowledge is is not great.

But if it’s a text based program, then probably the easiest thing

you could do is ask them if they could enable something called SSH

or secure shell.

And then you would be able to use an SSH client on Windows

to be able to log in to the remote Linux machine.

And if you use an SSH client, you would probably need to use your JAWS

cursor to navigate around.

But you would have access to the Linux environment,

provided it was text based, provided it was on the command line in the terminal.

My understanding is that you couldn’t use an SSH connection

if it was a graphical environment.

So if you were in something like GNOME

or Mata or anything like that, that was a GUI Linux desktop.

To be honest with you, I’m not even sure how you would do that in Windows.

You would probably you probably would actually need to use something like Orca

on the local machine in order to do that.

So I more than that, I was trying to use that.

But but that’s where I’m that’s where my head went when you asked that question.

Gotcha. Yeah.

Do you know, Matthew?

First, Matthew, number one, if you’re

what you need to emulate is text based or if it’s graphics.

Well, I do know that what I’m pulling up is initially a it does pull out.

It does have a graphical interface.

But with using this, trying to find a emulation package,

it would eliminate the graphical interface and then just pull all the text out.

Yeah, I good luck.

I yeah, I know I think what we were

what we were hoping to do was they would get me a laptop

with just a Linux OS on it and with I can install work on it

and then just just test it with Orca, because it seems like in doing my research,

Orca is the preferred screen

reading software for Linux OS software, you know, environment.

So I think I think that’s what I would do.

Yeah. Number two, does Orca do graphics also in Linux?

Yeah. Well, yeah. Orca is I think things like the BT speak use Orca to access.

I’m pretty sure it’s Orca anyway to access the whatever desktop they’re using on there.

So, yes, I’m pretty sure that if it’s not Orca, it’s something else.

But there is definitely a Linux screen reader that can do graphical user interfaces.

Excellent. Wow.

That’s awesome. OK. Hi, Dana.

Hello. I have a couple of things

you were asking about programs that people would like to see.

I have a suggestion about the possibility,

like here in my state, they’re still using free conference

call to do things, and they say it’s because the people

can’t use Zoom because they have to dial in.

Well, what do you do when you do free conference call?

You still have to dial in.

Maybe something where you’re talking about Zoom,

trying to, you know, simplify it for people.

And I don’t know if that would be for this or basics with bits.

And the other one that I have for you is

maybe something where you give people technology resources.

Where can they find grants or

programs or things that might be of interest to them?

Those are my two suggestions.

Excellent suggestions.

I love the Zoom.

I want to take you to each way to connect to a Zoom meeting.

If you’re connecting by one touch mobile, if you’re connecting by

you have a meeting ID, if you’re connecting with a link.

Yeah. Great suggestions.

I mean, I was afraid when I first, you know, I was like,

I don’t know about this Zoom thing.

I well, I’ll call on the phone.

And then somebody told me one day, you know, if you would just use your computer,

all you have to do is click on the link.

And I’m like, really?

And they’re like, yeah, then you don’t have to put in all those numbers and ID.

And I did it.

And now that’s exactly what I do.

You know, great suggestions.

Beautiful suggestions. Thank you.
